American Dad

American Dad comes from Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy. This new animated series focuses on Stan, the paranoid man of the house, who is a CIA agent. Francine, wife of Stan with a past she would prefer hidden, Hayley, the liberal daughter and Steve, the nerdy son. Not to be excluded are Klaus, a French goldfish who is madly in love with Francine, and Roger, an alien Stan rescued from area 51 who has to remain in the house.

This series will undoubtedly be successful for FOX, who plans to air the pilot of the show on February 6^th, SuperBowl Sunday, after the game, at 10:30 pm.

The show has not even aired, but 6 more episodes of the show have been ordered, bumping it up to 19 episodes!

Seth MacFarlane has been busy recently doing new episodes of Family Guy as well as this new show, American Dad. It is still unclear when the remaining episodes will air, so be sure to watch the pilot on February 6^th.

This 6 minute pilot gives us a glimpse as to how good the show will be. The download is available from American-dad.com which has been up with information way before anyone else has. This site isn’t quite done at the time of this writing, but the forums are incredibly popular.American Dad will be in the same vein as Family Guy, now the biggest problem we have is that we have to wait.
